Divine Wisdom pays tribute to our American Heroes.

DWCA marched in its first parade since becoming an academy. The Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade is a wonderful tradition held to honor our veterans. We had a great turn out of students which included music by our Band. Highlights and photos can be seen through the courtesy of The Tablet.

Divine Wisdom students won 48% of all honors awarded by the Little Neck/Douglaston Memorial Day Parade Committee.  Shana Marino is our grand prize winner for the Essay Contest.  Yuji Choi is our grand prize winner for the Art Contest.

Volunteer Recruitment

We are working on building our Volunteer Base. As many of you know, we rely on our Parent Volunteers for many of our programs and events. It creates a sense of community that brought many of us here and more importantly is how wonderful it is working together to benefit our children.

We ask that you fill out the Volunteer Service Form to indicate what committee or committees you are interested in. Upon receipt and compilation of all forms we will contact you to advise you which committee you have been selected for.  There will be a Chairperson for each committee that will help coordinate and assign events and programs. We understand that schedules change and expect this new process will help facilitate our volunteer force to ensure programs and events can be well staffed and at the same time give everyone the opportunity to fulfill their required service hours.
