The Playground Committee has launched its fundraising campaign for the new playground and park area. The playground opened on Saturday September 17th 2011. Welcome to the Divine Wisdom Catholic Academy website. Divine Wisdom Catholic Academy, established in 2009, is an independent Roman Catholic school formed under the guidance of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn and chartered by the New York State Board of Regents. The Academy is committed to building on the best traditions and standards of St. Anastasia Parish School, which, until its closure after the 2008/2009 academic year, provided outstanding Catholic education for over 80 years. As Directors of the Academy we are committed to achieving the Mission of the Academy and making Divine Wisdom Catholic Academy the model for Catholic elementary school education in Northeast Queens.
